New members incentive
Splash Sea School were looking for a simple to use but powerful incentive to encourage new members to sign up for their online sailing training courses. The incentive needed to be immediately relevant and useful to the target market, but it also needed to be sufficiently scalable with the potential to grow and evolve over time.
Together with Splash Sea School we created a weather app aimed specifically at sailors. The app was fully customised with a simple, flat design, creating an easy-to-use interface.
Best-in-class, custom, native development was the only way to fulfill user expectations. Splash Sea School turned to Chemical Design, and together we created a weather app that is fast, full-featured, and sufficiently scalable to grow and evolve.
Our solution
The fully-featured app, which automatically detects current location and can save up to ten locations, offers the most reliable and up-to-date information on:
- Tide times
- Wind speeds
- Wind direction
- General weather 5-day forecast
- Weather warnings
Splash Sea School has loyal customers, and a growing membership integration allows the Splash mobile app to reward that loyalty with a unique and valuable tool to sailors.
